A warm welcome to Bonneygrove from all of our Governors. We are all proud to play an important role in the development of the school and value the contribution of all children, parents and staff.

Bonneygrove Governing Body Profiles September 2017

 Amanda Gable - Headteacher

Mrs Amanda Gable is the Headteacher at Bonneygrove Primary School who joined the school in September 2017. She has a passion for teaching and learning and belives that all children should have an enriching and enjoyable time at school. Mrs Gable has three children and a Tibetan Terrier named Oscar. When she is not at school, Mrs Gable enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as travelling.

 reetu sharma - deputy headteacher

Mrs Reetu Sharma is the Deputy Headeacher at Bonneygrove who joined the school in January 2017.
She has been in the teaching profession for over 19 years and graduated with a PGCE from the Institute of London (UCL).  Reetu has worked in schools across Essex and London and her most recent role was that of  'Director of Learning' of an outstanding school and an Early Years improvement leader to a partner school.

 Bec Whitworth - Assistant Head

Miss Bec Whitworth is the Assistant Headteacher at Bonneygrove Primary School who joined the school in September 2016. She has been in the profession for over 9 years and graducated with a PGCE from the University of Hertfordshire. Prior to this she completed a degree in English Literature and Language at the University of Portsmouth. Her outside interests include being a part time professional makeup artist, who trained at the London School of Makeup.

 Shen Hasekilerden - Chair-Parent Governor

Shen is a mum of 3 boys, 2 of whom attend Bonneygrove in Reception and year 4.  Shen’s employment background is Recruitment within the hospitality industry and she studied to a BA (Hons) level in Finance and Accountancy.  Her interests include spending time with friends and family.  Her main focus is being a mum and pursuing her boys’ interests, development and happiness.

 Emma Barton – Vice-Chair

Emma is a mother of two children who both attend Bonneygrove Primary School. She has a degree in Sociology and two Masters Degrees. She has been a Principal Practitioner for fourteen years and carries out various types of assessments. She is a trustee of a London children's charity and supports various local causes and organisations.

 Alice McCormack-Associate Member

Alice has 2 teenage children who both attended Bonneygrove. Initially she was a parent volunteer, then helped on the PTA before becoming a governor in early 2006 where she has held various positions. With Mrs. Kraushaar she set up the Growing Club and introduced the idea of the school keeping chickens and the Y4 allotment tours. Alice is a maths tutor (and still continues to study), having previously been a statistician, with a BSc (Hons) in Maths & French and an MSc in Applied Statistics. 

Ray Marshall – Parent Governor  

Ray is an IT Service Director who has 20 years’ experience managing budgets, implementing policies and delivering services.  Educated to PhD level, Ray appreciates the importance of a good education. He has three children who all attend Bonneygrove. He is an active member of his Church and also has interests in digital media, football and music.

Michelle Holder - Parent Governor 

Michelle is mum to two children, the eldest in reception year at Bonneygrove.  Michelle works in the Financial Markets as a Business Manager for a large Inter Dealer Brokerage and is heavily involved in process, new initatives and business operations.  In her spare time other than enjoying being a mum,  Michelle’s main interests are Rowing, and spending time with family and friends.

Alex Wilson-Co-opted 

Alex Wilson is an Assistant Headteacher and Maths Leader at a large local primary school with fifteen years of teaching experience.  This keeps her busy most of her time, but any spare moments are spent with her family, enjoying London and visiting the theatre.
