Why School Clubs Matter
We strongly believe that participation in school clubs:
-
Builds confidence and independence
-
Develops teamwork and leadership skills
-
Encourages perseverance and commitment
-
Strengthens friendships across year groups
-
Supports physical and emotional wellbeing
-
Enhances children’s enjoyment of school
Extra-curricular activities contribute significantly to personal development and help children feel connected to the wider school community.
Booking and Participation
Information about available clubs is shared with parents and carers each term. Some clubs are led by school staff and are free of charge, while others are delivered by specialist external providers and may incur a fee.
Places are sometimes limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please ensure that booking forms and payments (where applicable) are completed by the stated deadlines.
Encouraging Every Child to Get Involved
We encourage all children to take part in at least one club during the school year. Trying something new can spark a lifelong interest, build confidence and help children develop important life skills.
