Year 4 are an outstanding group of children that are always ready to confront any challenge that is put before them. This is reflected in classrooms that are full of the children’s outstanding work with vibrant displays covering all subjects and homework projects.
Next term, year 4 will be presented with a rich source of exciting activities to aid their learning. During the summer, British weather permitting, learning will have an outdoor focus. Our Geography, Art and Computing lessons will revolve around “nature through a lens”. We will be taking photographs throughout our extensive grounds and using computers to generate interesting works of art. The outdoor theme continues in PE with a focus on athletics and team games.
Our Literacy and Maths will continue to be taught in an engaging environment with multi-sensory resources to facilitate their learning. IPads and Chrome books are used regularly to support the children’s learning through interactive games and activities.
The fun doesn’t stop there. Year 4 will be attending an Opera performance as well as visiting Paradise Wildlife Park to provide them with a variety of cultural experiences.
