Message from the Headteacher

{item_alt_tag}

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have had an exciting start to the autumn term with a variety of curriculum experiences and trips.

Year Three enjoyed the visit from a cave person, Year Six went back in time for the day and experienced life as a in the Victorian era, Year Five spent the day as Ancient Greeks, Year Two visited De Havilland Musuem and the police visited early years.

The PTA ran a very successful  Halloween disco, thank you to everyone who attended and made this a success. We very much enjoyed seeing all the pumpkins the children (or adults!) created for the PTA competition.

We look forward to a very busy second half of the autumn term which I am sure will zoom by in no time!

Our Facebook page is live!  Follow us on Bonneygrove Primary School (Facebook), @bonneygroveps (Instagram), for live updates, information and to see all of our exciting activities!

Meet the Teacher Autumn One 2023

On every newsletter we will introduce a new teacher for the parents and carers to get to know a little better.

Mr Waller

{item_alt_tag}

I'm Mr Waller and I currently teach in Year Five. I have previously taught in years three and four. I have worked at Bonneygrove for seven years now and have enjoyed every minute of it. Before teaching, I was a sports coach and worked at many schools in Hertfordshire and Enfield. I initially wanted to just be a PE teacher but I slowly began to appreciate and become more interested in lessons inside the classroom too!

The best part of teaching for me is being able to help children be the best versions of themselves. I love being able to give advice and being able to share my own experiences.

Outside of school, I love watching all sports and playing as many of them as I can. My favourite position was left back as I was left back on the bench in my playing days. I enjoy supporting Brentford and Cheshunt and you can often find me watching Cheshunt FC. Up the Ambers!

"Here are some of the exciting learning opportunities our children have been part of over the last term".

Year Five Spend the day as Ancient Greeks!
