Dear Bonneygrove families,

What an absolutely wonderful term we've had here at Bonneygrove Primary! As I sit down to write this, I'm filled with such pride thinking about all the incredible experiences our pupils have enjoyed and the fantastic achievements they've accomplished.

Our Year Six pupils have truly shone this term. They worked so incredibly hard on their SATs, and I couldn't be more proud of their dedication and effort. The way they approached their assessments with such maturity and determination was simply outstanding. Following all their hard work, they deserved their fabulous residential trip to the Isle of Wight, where they created memories that will last a lifetime. And what a perfect way to celebrate the end of their primary school journey with their absolutely fabulous prom - they looked amazing and had the most wonderful time!

The learning adventures haven't stopped there. Year Three had a brilliant educational visit to Woodhall Estate, where they experienced hands-on learning at its finest. Year Two's trip to Southend was equally exciting, giving them fantastic opportunities to explore and discover beyond our school walls. These experiences are so valuable in bringing learning to life for our pupils.

Our youngest learners in Nursery have been busy ticking off another activity from our famous '500 things to do before leaving Bonneygrove' list - this time enjoying having their faces painted! It's these special moments that make school life so memorable and fun.

Music has filled our school this term too, with Rock Steady Music holding their fantastic music festival. The talent and enthusiasm our pupils showed was absolutely incredible, and it was wonderful to see them performing with such confidence and joy.

I must take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to our amazing PTA, who worked tirelessly to make our summer fayre such a tremendous success. Your dedication and hard work throughout the entire year doesn't go unnoticed, and we're so grateful for everything you do for our school community.

Finally, a special thank you goes to all our wonderful helpers who butter the bagels every single day. These small acts of kindness make such a difference to our pupils' daily experience, and your commitment is truly appreciated.

What a term it's been - filled with learning, laughter, achievement, and community spirit. Thank you all for being part of our Bonneygrove family.

Hello everyone! I’m Stacey Doyle and I began my journey at Bonneygrove Primary School in April 2025. I moved from Derbyshire and spent ten fantastic years living and working in London, where my teaching career began in an inner-city school in Camden. After that, I taught in Abu Dhabi before returning to the UK to teach at a large primary school in Walthamstow, and later moved to Hertfordshire. I have also had the opportunity to teach in a private school, which added another valuable dimension to my teaching experience.

Being part of diverse and multicultural environments has been a rewarding experience, allowing me to learn and grow alongside my students.

I love teaching all subjects in the curriculum, though English and Science has always been my passion.

Outside of work, I love travelling, meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I also enjoy exploring the outdoors, horse riding (a lifelong passion of mine), reading, and playing squash.

"Here are some of the exciting learning opportunities our children have been part of over the last term".
