Message from the Headteacher

{item_alt_tag}

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to our Spring Two newsletter.  It continues to be a busy term with lots of exciting learning opportunities for the children.

Bonneygrove's love of sport continues as the girls football team remains unbeaten (at the time of writing this!) and the top of the league is within their grasp.  Well done! Mr. Cook and Mr. Waller continue to support a wide variety of sport within the school and run popular clubs after school.  Ask the office for more details if you think your child would be interested.

On the topic of sport, Miss Gursoy is running the London Marathon this year, pop down and support her if you have time.  We have a history of teachers who run marathon's, the London Marathon has previously been run by Mr. Cook!

Meet the Teacher Autumn Two 2023

In every newsletter we will introduce a new teacher for the parents and carers to get to know a little better.

Miss Stevens

{item_alt_tag}

Hello, I’m Miss Stevens. I have had the pleasure of working at Bonneygrove since January 2023. I am the Inclusion Lead and Assistant Headteacher. This is my first time working within this role and I am really enjoying it. As a class teacher, I always had a passion for supporting children with additional needs and that is why I was keen to take on this role.

I know I don’t look old enough (??) but I have been a teacher for 17 years! (Time flies when you’re having fun). Teaching in Enfield for all 17 years, I have taught across the whole primary age range. My most recent teaching commitment was in Early years, and I lead this as a member of the Senior Leadership team for eight years.

Last year, I moved house so I like to spend my free time trying to decorate. I am a big Arsenal fan, so enjoy watching the football and going to games. I also love to travel. Having already visited Amsterdam this year, I am excited to visit Paris, Las Vegas and Dominican Republic.

You will find my office in the KS2 building.

"Here are some of the exciting learning opportunities our children have been part of over the last term".
