Message from the Headteacher

Dear Parents and Carers,

Wishing you an amazing half-term holiday.

This term has been very busy with the Queen's Jubilee activities. We have an artist working with all of our year groups - painting portraits of the Queen in the style of different artists. We've had an amazing family picnic (thank you to all of our parents / carers for attending - I'm glad you all had a great time).  I have loaded all the pictures from the school disco onto the website. Year Three were cave people, Year Two have been Kings, Queens and Knights and Year Five have become amazing (the soups by all accounts were amazing). Year Four have been making summer fruit salads and the staff have been fantastic - making the learning hands on and exciting.  Year Six also took a trip down memory lane and spent the night as evacuees.

Meet the Teacher Summer One 2022

On every newsletter we will introduce a new teacher for the parents and carers to get to know a little better.

Miss Gursoy

I am Miss Gursoy, and I am a proud teacher at Bonneygrove. I am 26 years old, and my parents are from North Cyprus.

I started my teaching career at Bonneygrove six years ago and since then I have taught in year groups one, three and six.

Currently, I am the teacher of Eagle Class and I lead English throughout the whole school.

Reading and Writing are my favourite subjects to teach. I love my job because every day is different, and I am constantly learning myself.

My hobbies include running, reading, and dining out. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, particularly my nieces and nephews. One of my proudest achievements is running the London Marathon in October 2021. I also enjoy visiting different countries and hope to have many adventures abroad.

"Here are some of the amazing learning opportunities our children have been part of over the last term".
